time for you to vote, please remember what Kenyans, Zimbabweans, Guinea
Bissau nationals and Iraqis went through to vote and let you conscience be
your guide. The next time you go shopping for jewelry, please know that 90
percent of the world's rubies and nearly all of the world's jadeite (jade) come
from Burma.  Although Burma has made progress in its human rights record,
much still is needed.  And remember that your shopping choices have more
meaning than you may expect.
